Collecting PINK [dinner - glassware]

For my birthday in July I received a gift card from my daughter and with it I promptly purchased a set of PINK dishes that I had been looking at for awhile. [I'm a total "pink" freak...if it's PINK...I'll take two!]  Keep in mind, my kitchen is in the Tuscany theme...Italian all the way...so although PINK doesn't match [at all]...I honestly couldn't resist.  [And...over the past couple of months I've searched for matching glassware and I'm "tickled PINK" [so happy] to say I think I'm {finally]  finished completing the set. :0)    Aren't they beautiful!!
------

The "PINK" set of dishes and completer set that started it all. :0)

------
And...to add a little flowers/design to the set, we purchased this set of Victoria Park [Pfaltzgraff.]

-------
The search began for matching glassware.  I decided on depression glassware...[after seeing my Mother in Laws collection.]  And...at first I tried Fostoria Virginia [in pink] thinking it would match...so we purchased #8 Fostoria Virginia Pink glasses.

-----
::Then, we tried Fostoria Heritage [in Pink]...adding #4 juice glasses to the collection.

-----
THEN....I decided Fostoria "Jamestown" would be a much better match, [the same as my MIL's.] Oh my goodness...the color is so much more vibrant...absolutely beautiful...and a perfect match!  [Below are the pieces that I have collected so far.]

[#9 Jamestown Ice Tea Glasses, #7 Water Goblets, #4 Wine Glasses, #4 Juice Glasses, #8 Sherbert Desert Glasses, and #4 small fruit bowls.]

Updated: Oct. 14, 2008

Yippee...I found the salt and pepper shakers and ordered #4 etched vintage square plates, and a set of 10 pink round etched plates, [the seller wasn't sure if they were Fostoria or not, so I'm hoping when they arrive the pink color will be close to the Jamestown pieces...fingers crossed.]
